Womens Institute.
The Women’s Institute movement has always been influential in voicing concerns of women. These have included pertinent national and international issues. Wenvoe W.I. was formed in 1992 and is affiliated to the Glamorgan Federation of Women’s Institutes

Throughout the year we offer an interesting and varied programme. We like to include local people amongst our speakers and many donate their fee to charity. A very successful Spring Table Top Sale is held annually.

In 1994 we celebrated one hundred years of the founding of Wenvoe Community Council by compiling a book of our favourite recipes. We planted a tulip tree in front of the Community Centre to celebrate the Millennium.
